My Personal favorite section of Mass Appeal- Wearable Art.
This part of the show is really where Elmwood village artists premier creativity as the foundation of a driven community. This video represents the 2010 initiation of the wearable art section for Mass Appeal. The hard work, time and most of all true talent that it takes to create a piece of wearable art is by far the most admirable section of the show. Each artist chosen is given a presenting sponsor or Elmwood Village non-boutique shop to create a garment to highlight the company and glisten the runway. This year Buffalo.com, Reimagine Furniture, Zillycakes, Palladian Health, Wild Things, Sanders Roofing, Barefoot Wine and Dandy’s Candy will be the hosts for artists to pull their imaginative looks from. I CANNOT WAIT to see what these folks have in-store for this year’s Cause for Mass Appeal. See you on Saturday!
Anna Grace is a boutique in the heart of the Elmwood Village carrying a range in contemporary women’s clothing and accessories from small independent designers to larger established brands. Owner, Joanne Dina, carefully selects those special pieces to create a feminine yet effortless style. Erin Reedy, Stylist for Anna Grace in Cause for Mass Appeal will pull six looks that will compliment the stylish winter chic gal with essences of sequin and blush tones. If you’re looking for the perfect dress to wear to Cause for Mass Appeal, Anna Grace has lots of beautiful brands that complement every shape and style. Open Monday 11-6, Tuesday- Friday 11-7, Saturday 11-6 and Sunday 12-5. For more information, please visit the shop at 799 Elmwood ave. or http://www.shopannagrace.com/
